Family Day Graffiti Hunt Part 2

Toronto

After the Keele Wall on the Midas building, my boyfriend and I heading back along the subway. This is where you can get an up-close view of the graffiti and street art that can be seen from the subway.

One of the first pieces of street art we saw was done by Elicser. I had the pleasure of speaking to Elicser back in November when I was writing an article on graffiti in Toronto- So when I saw his work here I was extra excited to finally get a few pics of his work up!

Across the door frame from this was a cute little salt shaker that caught my attention for some reason:

Salt o’ the earth

If you are very perceptive, you will have noticed around the corner is a chick…which means UB5000! I had seen pictures this particular UB5000 mural online before, but to see it for myself was very exciting.

Here is the entire UB5000 mural:

Everybody’s a Winner!

A little further down from this mural there is another one by UB5000:

I must say that the gangster chick is one of my favourite parts of this mural. He is really rocking out- and doing karaoke…truly I never thought karaoke could look this cool!

Also love the faux advertising of the lazer vision glasses.

“Now with lazer vision”

I took so many pictures that day!! Family Day was just wonderful- maybe one day it will resonate as a real holiday and instead of graffiti hunting I will be playing monopoly with my family screaming over a Hotel that my dad builds.

So, because I took such a massive amount of photo’s I don’t want to overwhelm everyone with such an enormous post- SO I have decided to continue doing this in installments so each piece of art can have it’s dedicated time it deserves!

Check back later for more. 🙂
